Etched Glass
Etched glass is a generic term for treating the glass surface to diffuse transmitted light, reduce glare, and give the glass a frosted appearance. This process is also sometimes called sandblasted or frosted glass.
Etched glass is best preserved by applying a sealer to the top surface. This sealer is applied to the surface after the glass is completed and thoroughly cleaned. This product fills irregular surfaces and protects the glass from fingerprint oils, which are often linked to etched glass damage. The sealer creates a durable coating that can last for years under normal use.
