ShowerGuard®, the first and only temperable, permanently protected shower glass. Designed for residential and commercial use in shower and bath enclosures, ShowerGuard® glass is easier to clean than standard glass and maintains its original, like-new appearance.
During the manufacturing of ShowerGuard®, the glass surface is sealed through a patented ion beam process. ShowerGuard® glass resists the corrosion and discoloration caused over time by constant exposure to hard water, soaps and harsh household cleaners. These contaminants cause a chemical reaction that leaves standard glass rough and pitted so that it becomes easily clouded with residue, stain and scale build-up.
Because the protective properties are created during manufacturing, the surface of ShowerGuard® glass is protected before it is tempered and therefore does not require any extra work for the consumer.
